I enjoy music, but I am not really a big music person. I rarely go to concerts, and often listen to podcasts and books over music. There are songs, that get me everytime. That I will always listen to when they pop up on shuffle. No artist has more of those songs for me than Taylor Swift.

I have been a fan of hers for years thanks in large part to my son. He used to listen to her every night while taking a bath. It was how we could get through it without tears. Many of her songs from  Red and Fearless take me back to that time. I learned the lyrics as they played in the background of our nightly routine. 

Then during the pandemic, Folklore was released and I went all in on Taylor. I listened to it on repeat. I learned the lyrics intentionally instead of by osmosis. Then Evermore drew me deeper, Midnights who knew it could get better and finally my mind was blown by The Tortured Poets Department. 

So now you can find me making friendship bracelets and listening to her library on repeat. One of the things I adore is the use of her songs in popular shows like Bridgerton and The Summer I Turned Pretty.  Music adds magic to the journey a show takes you on. Of course,I love watching her on Disney+. I have watched The Eras Tour over and over.
